Updating Facebook details for Remote Facebook Marketplace Posting Tool (FBMP) on portal

For Facebook Marketplace Posting Tool to post the inventories successfully on Facebook properly, information such as Location as well as credentials are required to be up to date on the ZopDealer portal.

Following are the steps to update the Facebook Marketplace details on portal.

1. Scroll down and click on Account Settings from the left menu followed by clicking on Facebook Settings.

2. Fill in your Facebook email in the field next to Facebook Email (Remote Account) and Facebook password in the field next to Facebook Password (Remote Password).

3. (OPTIONAL IF Location is missing from the backend ) For the Facebook Marketplace Location, location should exactly match as the one on the Facebook Marketplace Location dropdown (with a checkmark next to it). To make sure it exactly matches to the Facebook Marketplace dropdown, open Facebook in the new tab and login into it with your Facebook credentials. Once you are logged in goto the following URL https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/create/vehicle scroll down and type the city name where you would like to post. Example London in Ontario. Once you find it select and wait till green checkmark is shown next to it.

Once all the information is saved, click on Save on the left side.

While updating the location, you will need to update the password as well since it is encrypted.
